If you are outside of the catchment area and would like me to visit, an additional fee of £5 per 5 miles will apply. Please visit the contact page on this website, or feel free to message or email me with the following details: your name, address, contact number, your pet's information, the services required, and your preferred date and time. I will then create an invoice and send it to you via email. The invoice will need to be paid via bank transfer to secure your booking. Please click here to book services.
Please note that when you book an appointment, I will receive a notification. I will then confirm the appointment via email or contact you to arrange an alternative time, as the booking system does not account for travel time between visits.
For most appointments, a 30-minute time slot is allocated to allow time for introductions, answering any questions, and completing the booked services. Please note that I may arrive up to 15-30 minutes earlier than your scheduled time. If this is likely to be an issue, kindly let me know in advance so I can adjust accordingly.
Please be aware that I will be visiting with my partner to ensure my safety when visiting new people in their homes.
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN): you can be assured that the nurse visiting you is qualified and registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The medication must also be clearly labeled with the following details: medication name, strength, dose rate, pet's name, practice name, and the name of the prescribing veterinary surgeon.
* Registered Vet Nurses are not permitted to diagnose or treat health conditions. Health checks and advice sessions are intended to provide advice on keeping your pets healthy. If your pet is unwell, please contact your Vet Practice. 'Healthy' health checks are not a substitute for your vet - if you have concerns about your pets health or have a specific question relating to their health, please contact your practice to arrange an appointment with your vet to discuss.
I cannot legally diagnose illness nor prescribe or dispense POM-V medication. This is an outpatient service, any medications will need to be clearly labelled with patient name and dosage. All medicines must be provided by the client’s vet.
Terms and Conditions
DANGEROUS DOGS POLICY, PET WELFARE AND BEHAVIOUR
I will not offer any services to any dog on the Dangerous Dog banned list as per the Dangerous Dog Act 1991. These include:
• Pit Bull Terrier
• Japanese Tosa
• Dogo Argentino
• Fila Brasileiro
• XL Bully
Although not considered a dangerous dog, it is within my own policy that I will not handle or offer appointments to German Shepherds due to often seeing unpredictable behaviour both within practice and within their home environment.
Animals outside of this list and known to be temperamental must be always muzzled during the visit. Although I have my own muzzles, they should ideally have their own, well fitted muzzle to ensure their comfort is maintained. My priority is the wellbeing, welfare and safety of your pets, owners and myself always.
Owners must be present for the appointment unless otherwise agreed.
Owners must be able to assist in holding their pets for treatment unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right the refuse treatment if your pet behaves in a way we feel others, or themselves, may be harmed.
Full price of the treatment will apply if the appointment needs to be cancelled due to undisclosed information in respect of the above or if the animal is deemed to be a danger to myself or others.
PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY
All payments are to be made at the time of the appointment or before the appointment.
Payment methods accepted are cash and credit & debit cards.
If a cancellation is made and it is less than 24 hours before the appointment, 100% of the treatment fee applies and no appointment transfer is available.
